Volunteering at West Hampstead Women’s Centre is a rich and rewarding experience, a great opportunity to get involved with your local community, learn new skills or rediscover old ones. Volunteers are at the heart of our centre delivering many activities and their support is essential to help women in need achieve a better quality of life.

Current Individual Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteer in-person:  Weekdays Mon - Fri daytime

We are currently looking for;

  • Osteopaths
  • Reflexologists
  • Yoga teachers
  • Dancefit teachers
  • Social Coffee Morning organisers
  • Workshop facilitators. If you have skills and knowledge to lead a series of 4 – 6 workshops or regular monthly sessions we'd love to hear your ideas.

Volunteer remotely and flexibly with our support: Evenings and Weekends

Activities available:

  • Creating and holding Fundraising Events
  • Graphic Art/Illustration
  • Interviewing and Writing.

Corporate Volunteering

Generate a positive impact in the community and make a real difference to local women and their families by supporting our local charity.  We would love to hear from you to discuss working together.

You can help us with:

  • Holding a Fundraiser - We can offer support with your company’s Fundraising Event
  • Practical help such as skilled maintenance and decorating
  • Run one off or regular workshops such as Tech Buddy support
  • Sponsor an activity or service which is close to your heart

Volunteer criteria

Our centre is aimed solely at women and we provide a woman only safe space, so all our volunteer roles are open to women only in accordance with the Equality Act 2010. This enables our most vulnerable service users to feel comfortable when accessing the centre.

Corporate Volunteering is open to mixed groups.
