Therapeutic Care for Chronic Pain (Women 50+)
Tuesdays and Fridays | 10:00am – 1:00pm
This service offers tailored therapeutic body treatments and massage therapy for Camden women aged 50 and over living with chronic pain, mobility challenges or long-term health conditions who are on low incomes. It supports women experiencing arthritis, joint or back pain, restricted mobility, long NHS waiting times for surgery or physiotherapy, or those undergoing cancer treatment. The service also supports women experiencing anxiety or low mood associated with persistent pain and ill health.
Each 45-minute session is tailored to the individual and aims to ease pain and tension, improve mobility, reduce stiffness and support physical recovery and overall wellbeing. Treatments take place in a safe, women-only environment that helps remove cultural and personal barriers to accessing care, enabling women to feel comfortable, respected and supported throughout their treatment.
The service is delivered by qualified therapists Samira Manassib and Nour Saloum Razzouk.
With the rising cost of living, the Centre is committed to keeping one-to-one wellbeing support affordable. Sessions are available for a contribution of £20, helping to sustain affordable wellbeing services for the Centre's members.
Places are limited and subject to eligibility and availability. Please contact the Centre to find out more.
