Asian Women's Health Sessions
Last Wednesday of the month
1:00pm – 2:00pm
Monthly Health Talks form part of the Asian Women’s Group programme, providing a welcoming and supportive space to learn about a wide range of physical and emotional health topics. Led by qualified health professionals, the sessions offer reliable information, practical advice and opportunities for discussion in a friendly and informal setting.
The talks take place on the last Wednesday of each month, except in August and December.
Previous talks have covered topics such as memory loss, vertigo, eye health, blood pressure management, healthy eating, arthritis and chronic pain. Sessions have also explored prevention, treatment options and self-management strategies, helping participants build confidence and make informed decisions about their health.
The talks encourage learning, discussion and peer support, helping to reduce isolation and increase understanding of health and wellbeing.
Monthly Health Talks are available to members of the Asian Women’s Group. Please contact the Centre to find out more about the group and upcoming sessions.
